I Might Be Lying
My Uncle John, he’s so tall
He can hardly see the ground at all
And when he stands his head’s so high
He has to duck when a plane comes by
My Aunt Lucy, she’s so small
She can go swimming in a cereal bowl
When she and Uncle John go out
She stands in his hand, and they walk around town
I might be lying
You never know
But that’s my story and I’m
Sticking with it just the way I told
Cause that's the way it goes
When I was a baby just 2 months old
I was a genius so I’m told
People would come from far and wide
To sit by my cradle and ask advice
Once on a trip our car broke down
My Dad tried to fix it but he couldn’t figure it out
My Mama said, “Honey, Let the baby have a go”
In 15 minutes we were back on the road
I might be lying
You never know
But that’s my story and I’m
Sticking with it just the way I told
Cause that's the way it goes
I went fishing and I caught a whale
I hitched a ride on a comet’s tail
Bigfoot lives in my back yard
I can run 55 miles an hour
I found a diamond as big as my head
There’s a dragon underneath my bed
My pet dog can ride bike
I sure do have an interesting life
I knew a kid who only ate blueberry pie
'Til his hair and his skin turned blue one night
So he said, “I’ll try a little lemon pie you see”
That kid turned completely green
I might be lying
You never know
But that’s my story and I’m
Sticking with it just the way I told
Cause that's the way it goes
That's the way I told
Cause that's the way it goes
